Missing Morality

I decided to read this since I actually enjoyed the books that came before. I think the end result of story could have still been accomplished without the blatant lack of morals and respect that the main female character showed. SPOILER: I get it...they're "mates" and have to love and crave each other but did she have to immediately get on her knees (literally)...minutes after she awoke has a prisoner, in a cage?! Her thought processes were so unrealistic and messed up. She thinks that this guys isn't the worst person she has ever had sex with! Seriously? A guys who is a part of a pack that has murdered her kind and family for generations, including just a few hours before? So stupid! I think the author should have thought this one through just a bit more.

Off the bat I was not crazy about Gannon. He is from a pack where, they kill half breeds and treated them like they are less than them. Gannon had a bit of an attitude, and then takes Brynn and puts her in a cage. While the sex was hot, I did not like the fact that she gives him a certain job within 5 minutes of waking up captured. The whole story and the path of their relationship is just weird and off putting. The only great thing about this story is the sex. HOT!

It was an ok book. I did get distracted by all the grammatical mistakes but if you want to read a trashy romance novel that will have you smiling by th end , granted it has two or three really unnecessary sex scenes, here your book.

great series

okay before you go any further let me make sure you don't do the same mistake I did. I, like any other moron who didn't bother to look closely, assumed that this was only the final book in the series, when it's actually all the books. so now i own all the seperate books and this collection too. just thought you should know in case you didn't already.

other than that the series was pretty good. It reads alittle weird though, like a childs movie, but that's probably because it was written for children. I think this book is good because it helps children get to understand spiritual stuff and realize how powerful God really is.

This was well written with a well formulated plot! The story moves along at a fast pace keeping the reader wondering what will happen next... There is the usual Bill Myers quirky humor mixed with the serious themes of spiritual warfare and the power of prayer. Great for kids!

Get More Out of Your Constitutional Rights

So often, I've read statements on social media like, "I'm exercising my right to freedom of speech." Or, "How can the government go against my religion."

Yet, when questioned, these citizens tend to really be saying that they are expressing assumptions are not willing to look at the truth.

Do you know what are United States Constitution allows you to do, or protects you from?

For me, the idea of reading about our federal constitution is exciting, because I know that in looking at the history, particularly the cases that went before the courts as our world has evolved allows me to be more comfortable with my opportunities.

So, when I embarked upon reading "American Constitutional Law," I did so knowing that it would be quite a journey through legislations, arguments, opinions, civil rights challenges, and quite frankly, anything that impacts our lives.

Written in an essay style, followed by case law summaries that explain what happened, this book is not light reading.

But who would want an history essay on our U.S. Constitution to be light reading?

The first half of this book focuses upon our political history, and the powers that our Executive Branch, Congress and the Supreme Court has.

And though, prior to reading this book, I thought I had a pretty good handle on those branches, I was especially intrigued by how laws are not only made, but also how they are evaluated as being good law.

There are many phrases in this first half of this book that at first, I said, "Yeah. Yeah. I get it."

But, as I became more comfortable with these essays, I found myself not only comparing judicial decisions made, I also found that the "commonly-known phrases" such as "due process," "interstate commerce", and others had so much more to them.

The second half of this book focuses more upon individual rights under the most of the Bill of Rights.

And in this section, I was especially by how cases must be presented on religious liberties, in order to get what you want.

Like most other cases, it is not about the facts. It's about how you apply the facts to the laws, and how you present those facts that leads to the outcome.

Reading this book has inspired me to look more closely at what is going on in the world and what the basis are for the decisions that are being made.

And in doing this, I believe that this empowers every reader to improve their lives.

�Poems with power.,�November 24, 2014To say the poems found in this collection were extraordinary is putting it mildly. This isn't your dreamy walk on the beach holding hands or gazing longingly into a lover's eyes all done in rhyme. Here, a single word has the power to speak in volumes and send you on a journey into the uncertainties and the joys of connecting through love. Are we worthy of love? Can love heal a wounded soul? Each word is crafted by a master artist to touch those emotions most of us have experienced in love, and in life, and make us feel again. At least this was my experience. I read this collection two times, and each time discovered a new facet. I'll be reading it many more times. Thank you, Ms. Hodge, for the journey.

From the Author
These poems represent a personal journey -- from being alone, feeling emotionally removed and wounded to finding another person, unexpectedly, and having my world completely altered. � Ultimately, the friendship and love of one person unwrapped the emotions that I had deeply buried, thus, I became "Undone."

EM Hodge is a former philosophy professor, triathlete, who currently focuses her writing on poetry as well as novels.

Undone And Loving It

This collection of poems is a Treasure and I am putting it at the very top of my bookshelf!! The Descriptive words of passion get me to daydreaming and the more light hearted poems get me smiling. I hope there are many more new poetry books to buy in the future from EM Hodge, one of my new Favorite Authors.

Beautiful.

One of my many discoveries in reading Undone is that a one word line is still a line, not just a word. E M Hodge’s lovely compact lines give my eyes the patience to linger and focus instead of searching towards a horizon to see where things might be going. This collection is a masterfully powerful combination of literate and learned philosophy with unapologetic urgent physical desire. As I continued to read I found myself feeling as if something in my memory was struggling to get free and connect. Then it came to me. I felt the way I did when I first read Rumi. E M Hodge’s poems have a spare and prayer-like longing for desire to be fulfilled. Beautiful.

About the Author

Charles E. Baukal, Jr., Ph.D., PE, is the director of the John Zink Institute for the John Zink Company, LLC (Tulsa, Oklahoma), where he has been since 1998. He has more than 30 years of experience in the fields of industrial combustion, pollution control, and heat transfer and has authored more than 150 publications in those areas. Dr. Baukal serves as an adjunct instructor for Oral Roberts University, the University of Oklahoma, the University of Tulsa, and the University of Utah. He is the author or editor of thirteen books in the field of industrial combustion.
